Dr Máirín MacCarron gives guest lecture in Jarrow to mark 1350 years since the birth of Bede
Máirín MacCarron, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Digital Humanities, was invited to contribute to 'Bede 1350', a series of guest lectures in the Bede Museum at Jarrow Hall, South Tyneside, England.
Her lecture, on 11 November 2023, was entitled 'How did Bede know how old he was? Time reckoning in the Early Middle Ages.'
