CPPU researchers lead new EU project tacking energy poverty
25 May 2020Researchers at the Cleaner Production Promotion Unit based in the UCC School of Engineering and Environmental Research Institute are to lead a new c. €2 million project addressing energy poverty. The project entitled 'EnergyMeasures: Tailored measures supporting energy vulnerable households' is funded by the European Commission through its Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation.

NewTREND Project kicks off in Glasgow, UK
06 Oct 2015The first plenary meeting of the NewTREND H2020 project, led by Integrated Environmental Solutions Ltd. is being held in Glasgow on 7 & 8 October. The project, which commenced in September, aims to develop an integrated design methodology for energy retrofit specified for use for individual buildings and at the district level, addressing all phases of the refurbishment process.
