The Thermo Fisher Scientific Prize in Organic Chemistry was recently launched at UCC. The prize is open to all students who have completed third year in Chemistry and consists of a €1,000 cash prize and commemorative medal.

Johnson and Johnson has announced its prestigious Women in STEM2D (WiSTEM2D)1 Undergraduate Award recipients from UCC.

Dr. Niamh O’Mahoney, a BSc. Chemistry with Forensics (2018) and PhD (2022) Chemistry graduate from the School of Chemistry at UCC has been awarded the National University of Ireland Dr Garret Fitzgerald Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Higher Education Studies.
