RSC Recognition for Dr. Trevor Carey

Dr. Trevor Carey, Technical Officer in Physical Chemistry, has received CChem and RSciTech status from the Royal Society of Chemistry. Trevor was mentored during the process by Prof. John Sodeau.

Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) is a competence based professional designation for technicians and technical support staff.

Chartered Chemist (CChem) is awarded to chemists who are currently employed in the chemical sciences.  For those in early stages of their career the award is achieved by completing a two year professional development plan (PDP); those with more experience (greater than six years) can apply immediately.
