The 2015 Irish Science Teachers Association conference took place in UCC last weekend with numerous contributions from staff and students from the Chemistry Department across the following areas.

Prof. Martyn Pemble – RSC Lecture entitled “Scratching the Surface – Solid Catalysts”

Dr. Aoife O’Sullivan – Promotion of SEFS Exhibition

Dr. Trevor Carey – Spectroscopy in a Suitcase Workshop

Stephen Stokes –“The Chemistry Behind the New Practical Work in the Leaving Certificate Chemistry Syllabus.”
