Salters Festival of Chemistry 2012

32 schools from around the country took part yesterday in the 2012 Salters Festival of Chemistry, held in Chemstry Department, UCC.

Well done to all schools which participated. Prizes were won by the following schools:

The Salters Challenge
1st: Colaiste na Sceilge, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry
2nd: Mary Immaculate School, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare
3rd: Loretto Secondary School, Fermoy, Co. Cork

The University Challenge
1st: Pobalscoil Inbhear Sceine, Kenmare, Co.Kerry
2nd: Clonakilty Community College Co. Cork
3rd: St Mary's Secondary School, Mallow Co. Cork
