Rowing Semester Two Recap

UCC Rowing had a fantastic semester two this year. Read more to find out about their specific results. 

 

OVERSEAS EVENTS:

London Women's Head of the River Race 2025 (WeHORR)

Overseas Winners with it being our first time attending the event with two women's crews entered. 

 

London Men's Head of the River Race 2025 (HORR)

Two men's crews entered, with the first eight coming in the top 50 out of 350 crews. 

 

NATIONAL EVENTS:

INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIONS AND IRISH TEAM TRIALS

Multiple athletes trialling for the Irish Team, with four athletes heading into the final trials in June.

Adam Murphy was awarded UCC International Representation Awards and Mags Cremen was awarded Sports Star of the Year.

Three UCC athletes have already been selected to represent Ireland in the European Rowing Championships (Andrew Sheehan, Mags Cremen and Adam Murphy).
