President's award 2011-12

Congratulations to Ms. Nicole Kennedy, Dept. of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Practice Educator Coordinator, and the rest of the team on their recent successful application for a 2011/2012 President’s Award. The award, which also had contributors from the School of Music and Theatre and the School of Nursing and Midwifery, is for Research on Innovative Forms of Teaching and Learning. Funding received from the award will be used to complete research on the use of simulated clients (actors) to prepare student Speech and Language Therapists for clinical placement.
