Course Content

The course is delivered in modules between 5-15 credits. Students enrol in modules to the value of 60 ECTS credits per annum, over a period of two calendar years. There will be 3 semesters per calendar year. All modules will be compulsory.

Each year the curriculum will consist of a 60-credit curriculum distributed over three semesters. The academic curriculum will complement a clinical skills curriculum which will be delivered simultaneously.  In addition, students will experience a minimum of 1,000 hours of clinical placements both within the in house clinic and off site clinical placement which will be assessed as part of the clinical education for this programme.Find out more about clinical placement here.

 

Year One:

Year one of the MSc. Audiology is primarily focused on the diagnostic assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of adults who have hearing related disorders. Further details on the modules listed below can be found in our book of modules.

Year Two:

Year two of the MSc. Audiology is primarily focused on the diagnostic assessment and management of the paediatrics population who have hearing related disorders and diagnostic assessment of all balance related dsiorders. Further details on the modules listed below can be found in our book of modules.
