Prof. Ken O'Halloran delivers keynote lecture at the INFANT research day

Professor Ken O’Halloran delivered a keynote lecture at the 5th Annual INFANT Research Day which was held at the UCC Centre for Executive Education Lapps Quay on December 12th.
Ken’s lecture entitled: “Looking for inspiration: adventures of a respiratory physiologist” was an overview of recent work in three areas of investigation by his research group: hypoxic remodelling in respiratory muscle; control of breathing in muscular dystrophy; and the cardiorespiratory effects of manipulation of the microbiota.
