The Traveller Equality & Justice Project, UCC School of Law is delighted to announce a seminar ‘Providing access to justice for socially-excluded groups: The Legal Practitioner Perspective’ 15th September 6pm-8pm, online via Microsoft Teams.
The Traveller Equality & Justice Project, UCC School of Law is delighted to announce a seminar ‘Providing access to justice for socially-excluded groups: The Legal Practitioner Perspective’ 15th September 6pm-8pm.
Hosted on Teams, the seminar will be of interest to solicitors and barristers working with socially excluded clients or with an interest in social-justice litigation and access to justice more broadly. Speakers will include legal practitioners with considerable experience responding to access to justice issues and representing socially-excluded groups within equality, environmental and human rights casework including Marc Willers, QC and representatives from prominent access to justice initiatives.
The presentations will provide attendees with insight into work in this field from experienced speakers and will speak to the challenges and value of representing vulnerable rights-holders for the legal profession. Speaker presentations will be followed by audience Q&A.
Please note that this seminar is intended for practitioners within the legal profession.
