Maggie recently took part in Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Simon Coveney's recent trade mission to the Midwest United States

Organized by Education in Ireland and hosted by UCC's partner DePaul University in Chicago, Maggie participated in an educational roundtable discussion with the Minister and his team, along with representatives from Enterprise Ireland, the Consulate General of Ireland in Chicago, University College Dublin, DePaul University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, the CIEE Frederick Douglas Global Fellowship, and the College of Global Studies at Arcadia University. The lively, in-depth discussion touched on the opportunities and challenges facing all those involved in international education, but also wholly confirmed the strong relationships Irish universities enjoy with their educational partners in the United States.
