UCC Clubs & Societies Ball 2018

Congratulations to the International Student Society who walked away with 5 awards at the recent UCC Clubs & Societies Ball 2018.

Among the awards received were:

• Most Improved Society of the year
• Society Choice Award, the other societies voted us as best society
• Best Collaboration Event, with the “World Food Fair” in co-organized with the Alzheimer’s Soc and in collaboration with Italian, French, German, Hispanic, Indian, Korean, Chinese and African Societies
• Society Achievement Award, Andrea Visentin, Chairperson
• Best Visiting Student, Silvia Puddu, PRO

Andrea and the team also received nominations and runners up for:

• Best Social Society, Runner up (2^nd place)
• Best Financial Management, Nomination
• Best Collaboration Event, Nomination for the “International Sport Day” part of the welcome programme
• Best Visiting Student, Nomination for Eugenie Defeu, Deputy PRO
