St. Patrick's Weekend Festival 2018, Cork
Welcome to the Cork St. Patrick's Festival 2018! Join us as the city comes alive with colour, music and pagentry for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.
On this festival weekend, take a guided tour, listen to some traditional music, see an exhibition or take in a show. there is so much to see and do this festival weekend. The parade will take place Saturday 17th march at 1pm. For full details visit us on: http://www.corkstpatricksfestival.ie/.
One to watch out for is The Céilí Allstars playing Saturday 17 at 7pm in Coughlans Bar, 7 Douglas Street (www.coughlans.ie). The Céilí Allstars are an exciting four piece traditional Irish music band. Their musical style includes shades of Sliabh Luachra - where they originate from - combined with generous sprinklings of folk & country. They've played residencies in Cork's legendary folk venues the Lobby Bar, Cork and De Barra's in Clonakilty. They're also at home on bigger stages playing at festivals in Ireland, Holland, Italy, Russia and Australia. Free event.
