Mental Health Week 2018

9 Oct 2018
Mental Health Ireland and our volunteers will be celebrating Mental Health Week from the 7th – 13th October 2018.

World Mental Health Day takes place on the 10th October and this years theme is ‘Young People and Mental Health In a Changing World’, as set by the World Federation for Mental Health.

To kick the week off we will host our 5,000 Steps to Wellbeing Walk in UCD on Sunday 7th October – it’s a great walk where you can learn all about the Five Ways to Wellbeing and also get a nice walk in!

If you would like to volunteer for the week with your local Mental Health Association to help them with their events you can get in touch with us at info@mentalhealthireland.ie or directly with the Association.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are simple actions you can do in your everyday life to feel good and function well.

  1. Connect
  2. Be Active
  3. Take Notice
  4. Keep Learning
  5. Give
