On 26 April, the International Office was delighted to welcome a delegation of study abroad professionals from several US universities, colleges and third-party providers. Institutions from Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington DC were represented. The visit to UCC was supported by Education in Ireland.  The group was welcomed by President John O’Halloran and while on campus the visitors had the opportunity to learn about the application process, student support services and teaching and learning. Six students from the US who are currently studying abroad at the university participated in a question-and-answer session where they highlighted various aspects of their experiences living and studying in Cork.
