Following years of lobbying by CRAC Lab reserchers Prof. John Sodeau and Prof. John Wenger, Denis Naughten, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, launched of the consultative phase of the Government's first ever 'National Clean Air Strategy'. The number of air-monitoring stations around the country will be doubled to 70 to allow the State develop more evidence-based clean air policies, the Minister for Communications and Climate Change Denis Naughten has said.
