UCC hosts the 77th Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium 2026

The School of Chemistry at University College Cork was delighted to host the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland 77^th Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium on 23-24 June 2026.

The annual Chemistry Colloquium is one of Ireland’s key postgraduate research meetings, bringing together postgraduate students, early career researchers, academics and industry representatives to present and discuss research across the full breadth of chemistry. The 2026 meeting included plenary lectures, parallel oral presentation sessions, poster presentations, networking opportunities, sponsor engagement and a prize-giving ceremony recognising outstanding student research.

The event provided an important opportunity for early-career researchers to share their work, develop presentation skills, build networks across the Irish chemistry community, and engage with industrial and professional partners.
