Second year School of Chemistry student honoured at UCC EmployAgility Awards 2026
CPC2 student Conor Krol was awarded a Bronze Award Certificate for his work on the Internship EmployAgility Award 2026. Conor was involved with the project titled “Predicting NMR Chemical Shifts from Structure in α-Thio-β-chloroacrylamides Using Machine Learning” supervised by Dr Stuart Collins, School of Chemistry.
Prof. Anita Maguire, Head of School, said, "Congratulations to Conor on this EmployAgility Award and sincere thanks to Dr Stuart Collins for his mentorship in this project. This is a great opportunity for students to gain new skills in parallel with their studies."
