School of Chemistry PhD student Geoffrey Stosse starts work at Princeton University Chemistry Department

Geoffrey is a PhD student with Prof Gerard McGlacken at the School of Chemistry at UCC and is funded by Research Ireland.
He will spend 3 months at Princeton, working with Prof Paul Chirik, investigating the use of cobalt as an earth-abundant and sustainable metal catalyst. Ultimately this research could lead to more environmentally benign routes to APIs and drugs, though better "borylation" processes.
