Chemistry with Forensic Science students visit State Laboratory and Forensic Science Ireland

The final year BSc Chemistry with Forensic Science class went on tours of the State Laboratory and Forensic Science Ireland.
It was fascinating to hear about the different roles in analytical and forensic chemistry across two state-of-the-art laboratories and to have an insight in to the wide range of samples, procedures and instrumentation they work with.
A huge thank you to the staff for facilitating the visit.
