School of Chemistry PhD Student Wins Best Poster Prize at E-MRS Conference in Warsaw

4th year Chemistry PhD student Rupa Ranjani Palanisamy won the Best Poster Prize at the recent European Materials Research Society conference in Warsaw.
Rupa, whose research focuses on metal selenide nanostructures as potential electrodes for supercapacitors was awarded under the symposium "Sustainable materials for chemical and electrochemical energy storage" for her poster titled "Redox electrodes for electrochemical and thermal energy storage". Posting on LinkedIn, Rupa said that she was "thrilled" to have participated in the conference.
The E-MRS Fall Meeting, is organized every year in September and consists of 20 topical symposia. This year's conference took place from September 16th to 19th in Warsaw University of Technology.
