14th Annual Eli Lilly Postgraduate Research Symposium

Congratulations to Mary McKee, winner of best oral presentation in the 14^th Annual Eli Lilly Postgraduate Research Symposium, held in UCC last week.

The symposium highlights excellence in research from postgraduate students in UCC in the area of organic and pharmaceutical chemistry. Mary is undertaking her research on novel ellipticines under the supervision of Dr. Florence McCarthy funded by the Irish Research Council and her talk concerned the new development in the group of anticancer benzofuran conjugates.
