Research achievements of the Biophysics and Bioanalysis Lab
The Biophysics and Bioanalysis has successfully advanced its research projects, particularly the SFI and IPIC (Irish Photonics Integration Research Centre) projects in the area of Biophotonics and sensors.
The work has produced a number of significant research outcomes in the last 3-4 months, including:
- Three primary papers published in high impact journals CMLS (IF 9.2) and Sensors & Actuators Part B (IF 7.4) – see their details below.
Two additional research papers have also been submitted to Bioconjugate Chemistry (led by Chiara Zanetti) and JoVE (led by Rajannya Sen) journals, and three other are being prepared for submission. - Three conference presentations including two posters and one invited oral talk – see below. In addition, Chiara Zanetti, Liang Li and Dr Rafael Gaspar (Sparkle Fellow) participated in the IPIC Industry Day in May 2022 with poster presentations.
During May-August 2022, our lab:
Published three papers in high impact journals (CMLS – 9.2; SNB – 7.3):
