Administrative and Technical Biochemistry staff honoured at SEFS Staff Awards
Congratulations to Olive Cosgrave recipient of a Staff Citizenship Award and Jenny Duane recipient of a Student-nominated Staff Award at the annual College of Science, Engineering and Food Science (SEFS) STEM Awards Ceremony on 16 May 2023.
Annually, the College of SEFS ask all staff and undergraduate students to nominate outstanding staff members whose leadership and support are essential to the success of the College. The College of SEFS recognise the achievements of outstanding staff whose leadership and support are essential to the success of the College, and whose work extends into the wider community.
Olive was nominated by staff in the School for her outstanding and ongoing excellence in services to staff and postgraduate students and for going above and beyond job duties to enhance the quality of work-life in ways that make a significant difference for colleagues and students.
Jenny was nominated by students in recognition of her contribution to the administration of the final year undergraduate BSc Biochemistry, BSc Genetics and BSc Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compound degree projects and for her support and care offered to students.
The School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology are immensely proud of Olive’s and Jenny’s recognition and achievement which reflects the dedication and professionalism of the administration and technical s in the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
