Rowing World Championship Recap

Last week 3 UCC students: Adam Murphy, Andrew Sheehan and Rory Buckley, competed in the u23 World Rowing Championships.
Adam Murphy preformed strongly throughout the whole regatta in the BM2x category. He made it to the A Final where he finished 3rd overall. Taking the bronze medal for Ireland
Andrew Sheehan made the A Final in the BM1x as well. He finished 6th overall.
Rory Buckley in the BM4- finished 2nd in the C Final, putting him and his crew 14th overall.
UCC Alum, Paul O’Donovan also competed in the senior World Championships, just 3 short weeks after the Olympics. He came 1st overall in the Men’s Lightweight 1x.
