Research Skills Training Programme
The programme covers key research topics and skills including grant writing; budget management; communication; research metrics and assessment; interdisciplinarity; open research; entrepreneurship, commercialisation and innovation; project management; GDPR and IT security; data management; research culture; engaged research; research ethics; research for policy; citizen science; clinical practice.

Epigeum Research Integrity Training
State of the art online training programme on the principles of research integrity applied to every aspect of research, from publication to collaboration. This training is mandated by Irish funding organisations such as Research Ireland (SFI-IRC), the Health Research Board (HRB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is also strongly advised that all Research Staff and Postgraduate Research Students across UCC undertake this training.

UCC Digital Badge in the Responsible Conduct of Research
Tailored, blended learning course on responsible, reproducible research. Topics covered include research integrity, FAIR Principles, research data management and reproducible research.

Research Essentials Workshops
In-person and online workshops on a range of research-specific topics (i.e. data management, programming languages, podcast and video editing, open access). These workshops have a practical focus, with plenty of opportunity to apply previous knowledge in a welcoming and friendly environment. Participants will come away from the workshops with the ability to use and adapt the tools, techniques and knowledge presented in their own research.
