A very busy Open Day for the School of Public Health!

On Saturday 12th October, the UCC Open Day took place in UCC, attended by thousands of secondary school students and their parents.

During the day, there was a great interest in the BSc in Public Health Sciences, with many visitors attending the talks given by Dr Paul Beirne, providing an excellent insight into our BSc. Sincere thanks to Paul, who presented the talk four times on the day.

I also would like to express my sincere thanks to the BSc students: Sorcha Higgins, Ella Gebruers and Eoin Riordan, who staffed our Information Stand and responded to many questions from interested people during the day, and who were absolutely excellent in promoting the BSc!
