Policies and Procedures
Purpose of the Manual - Introduction
The University College Cork Policy & Procedures Manual describes the internal controls that are necessary to ensure a consistent framework of control within the financial, accounting, Academic, Health & Safety, IT, social, and other functions across the University. By co-ordinating and updating policies and procedures at each of the various units in the University, the manual forms a key part of the overall control and compliance structure.
One aim of the Procedures Manual is to standardise control procedures across the University. It does not supersede any policy documentation existing throughout the units. This document is a controlled document, and has been produced and will be maintained by individual departments.
