Dr. Hyland's Research Presented in Chicago

Dr. Niall Hyland’s work was selected for a lecture presentation as part of the Neurogastroenterology & Motility Distinguished Abstract Plenary at Digestive Disease Week held in Chicago (May 3rd -6th 2014. The lecture presentation was entitled “Probiotics influence colonic secretomotor function and gastrointestinal physiology in the mouse: In vitro and in vivo studies with Bifidobacterium infantis 35624 and Lactobacillus salivarius UCC118”. The work was carried out by Mr. Kevin Lomasney (PhD student, Dept. of Pharmacology & Therapeutics) and was co-supervised by Prof. John Cryan (Dept. of Anatomy & Neuroscience)
