An international team of scientists led by Prof Andy Wheeler of UCC has discovered a new cold-water coral habitat in Irish waters possibly doubling the amount of cold-water corals previously thought to exist in Irish waters.

Researchers at University College Cork are leading a €4m EU-funded research project to address energy efficiency and high performance in cloud computing. 

Researchers at UCC and McGill University in the US have found strong associations between economic downturns and the rates of suicide. Their findings are published online today (Wednesday, 17th June) in the International Journal of Epidemiology.
