UCC has signed a the Memorandum of Understanding  between University College Cork and École Normale Superieure de Rennes (ENS Rennes).

ENS Rennes and UCC have collaborated in a number of areas, namely in research into Marine Renewable Energy and graduate student education in Law.  However this agreement will expand and formalise the collaboration. It would be hoped that in the immediate future, research laboratories in both institutions will collaborate on joint research projects, encouraging visiting scholar exchange programmes and boosting student mobility at under-graduate and post-graduate levels under the framework of the Erasmus+ European programme.
