What Is QQI/FET?

The Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) / Further Education and Training (FET) entry routes are designed for students coming through level 5 or level 6 courses from Colleges of Further Education and are seeking a level 8 course in University College Cork. UCC offers specific first-year undergraduate degree programmes for students who have achieved the relevant awards. Most of our undergraduate courses are linked to QQI level 5 & 6 courses in Colleges of Further Education. This is an entry route that works just like applying through the Leaving Certificate Route.

How Do I Apply?

Students with the relevant QQI/FET Awards can apply to the University College Cork via the Central Applications Office (CAO)
