Access UCC Photoshoot - Two students sitting reading in the UCC QUAD

Access UCC are committed to making lasting change at here at the university. One of the ways we aim to do this is with our projects. These projects aim to widen participation of students from all backgrounds and to help those students reach their full potential.

Autism Friendly Initiative

UCC's Autism friendly initiative aims to make the university as a whole more "autism-friendly". The project aims to ensure that students with autism can have a better experience of the University.

SOAR Project

Universities across southern Ireland have undertaken the SOAR Project. It encourages inter-institutional collaboration on Access. SOAR aims to widen access to third-level education for under-represented groups.

Inclusive UCC

The Inclusive UCC project aims to support the university in becoming a leader of digital accessibility in Ireland and beyond.

By making UCC more digitally accessible, all students, regardless of ability or disability will have a more even playing field.
