Dr Valentina Rossi wins Paleontological Society Grant

The "Norman Newell Early Career Grant Program" is part of the Paleontological Society Grant scheme in support of early-career palaeontologists.

Valentina is honoured to be one of the four winners for 2023 and can't wait to start! Her project will focus on characterizing the taphonomy of partially preserved plumage of a Late Pleistocene vulture found in Central Italy in a pyroclastic deposit called Peperino Albano.
