8 Oct 2025

Last week the School of Law was thrilled to host visiting scholar Beverley Clough, Professor of Law and Social Justice at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Professor Clough joined with Dr Gill Harold, ISS21 and lecturer in Applied Social Science, and Dr Aisling Parkes, senior lecturer in the School of Law, for an interdisciplinary seminar titled '(Un)becoming mothers: Mapping the structural intersections of motherhood and disability', attended by staff and students in law, nursing and social science.

Professor Clough and Dr Henrietta Zeffert, lecturer in the School of Law, are collaborators on the feminist legal geographies of home project.

With many thanks to the School of Law Strategic Fund for facilitating Beverley's visit.
