25th Annual Law Society Conference
'Artificial Intelligence integration into Legal Practices: Strategic Transformation of Legal Operations, Improved Efficiency and Enhanced Decision-Making'
The only student-led professional law conference in Ireland is fast approaching. The 25th Annual UCC Law Society Conference will take place on Monday the 23rd of February from 9.15am to 2.30pm. The conference will take place in the Aula Maxima in UCC.
This year’s theme will delve into how Artificial Intelligence has the power to transform legal practices, improve efficiency, and enhance client interactions. The title of the conference is, “Artificial Intelligence Integration into Legal Practices: Strategic Transformation of Legal Operations, Improved Efficiency and Enhanced Decision-Making.”

Dean of the UCC Law School, Professor Conor O'Mahony will open the event, with Professor Nessa Lynch acting as Chair. Guests will have the opportunity to attend two panel discussions, with insights into the theme delivered by legal professionals, members of legal academia and relevant business professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panel during a Q&A session. The following panellists will be speaking on the day:

Elaine Morrissey- AI Governance lawyer
Emerald de Leeuw- Head of Privacy and AI Governance at Logitech
Justice Max Barret- Judge of the High Court
This will be supplemented by a careers focused networking session for students, staff and attendees during a break between the panels.
CyberSafe Kids are our chosen charity partners for the conference. A charity raffle will be held on the day with a chance to win exciting prizes.
The conference is open to all, with no entry fee and seat allocation will therefore operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.
