6th February 2020 - This Place

Róisín O Sullivan's work explores process, surface and experimentation through painting, drawing and printmaking.

Looking to the landscape as a source of inspiration the influence of topography, line and mark-making creates a visual language within the work. Sourcing different forms of wood, Róisín delves deeper into the surface by carving within the layers of the work, causing tension between paint and woodcut techniques.

This Place is Róisín’s fifth solo exhibition to date, yet her first in her hometown of Cork. In 2015, she graduated with an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London.

The exhibition ran until early March 2020.
