Dr Aodh Quinlivan: "Why politics matters?", a talk in Christ the King Secondary School

On Monday 25 February, Dr Aodh Quinlivan spoke to students in Christ King Girls’ Secondary School about civic engagement, active citizenship, and why politics matters.

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mick Finn, addressed the students about the future of Cork following the recent city boundary extension. Transition Year student, Martha Cashell, was presented with a certificate to mark her success in winning a trip to Strasbourg in a competition run by Graduate.ie. The prize was sponsored by Cork City Council.
