Data Protection Notices
Data Protection Notices are provided to students at registration and staff on appointment. The DP Policy informs staff of the need to create DP Notices on a local basis for specific purposes. Changes as a result of GDPR are:
- more information to be provided in DP Notices;
- additional notice where personal data is obtained from a third party;
- in plain language in easy and accessible form.
The project Working Group will review all current DP notices to identify any gaps in the current DP Notices and related processes. The Information Compliance Officer will co-ordinate the revision of existing notices and assist with the creation of new ones required.
