Building on the Data Protection Project which was carried out in 2012/2013, a GDPR Implementation Project was undertaken in 2017/2018 in UCC to ensure that the University meets the increased level of data protection compliance required by GDPR and to ensure that the University’s procedures satisfy the increased personal privacy rights that people now have.
