Students from the PG Certificate in Dairy Technology and Innovation Visit UCC and Teagasc
Block Week Teaching on our Blended Programmes
The Food Industry Training Unit were delighted to welcome the participants of the part-time Postgraduate Certificate in Dairy Technology and Innovation to UCC and Teagasc last week.
The PG Certificate is a blended programme that involves a mixture of online and face-to-face classes. Face-to-face classes are carried out during a week in October and again in late January.
While onsite in UCC, the group, who work for various dairy related companies in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe had the opportunity to discuss business processes across the dairy supply chain and how they related to their individual companies.
Later in the week the group were onsite in Teagasc discussing and experiencing first different strategies in place in relation to sustainability and future proofing the Irish dairy sector.
