COVID-19 is still present in our community and can cause serious illness. At Cork Dental School & Hospitlal we are continuing to do all we can to avoid transmission of COVID-19 during your visit. Please help us in the following ways -

Do not attend the hospital if you have COVID-19, or any symptoms that could be COVID-19.

If you have a condition that makes COVID-19 infection a particular risk for you, please make sure that you tell this to the dentist who is responsible for your care. We are very grateful for your co-operation.

Clinical Pledge Ceremony held at University College Cork January 2023

The Clinical Pledge ceremony was held at University College Cork for BDS3 and BDS4 on 17 January 2023.

This event was held mark the development our students as future dental professionals, as they continue on the journey of assuming responsibilities of leading and managing care for their patients.

The event was held in the historic Aula Maxima at UCC. Addresses were made to the students by Professor John O’Halloran (President of University College Cork) and Professor Paul Brady (Dean, Cork University Dental School & Hospital). The event was convened by Professor Chris Lynch who invited the students to recite the Clinical Pledge.
