Prof. Yoshizumi Kajii recently visited Cork to ratify a new memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation between UCC and The Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, Japan. Prof. Kajii has worked together with researchers from the CRAC Lab for the last 6 years and currently has visiting student Tomihide Fujii on placement in Andy Ruth’s group.

This new agreement formalises our collaboration and is expected to result in further exchange of students, research and academic staff, as well as the development of joint research projects. Konichiwa Kyoto!
