Chinese Summer Courses
Chinese Summer Course ONLINE
Beginner
Aapplicants will be given a professional instruction at beginner’s level, with the emphasis on communicative skills and Chinese culture. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to have simple conversations in Mandarin and have a brief understanding about Chinese culture. Beginners or those with basic knowledge of Chinese are welcome.

Date:Every Tuesday & Thursday 2nd June - 2nd July 2020
Delivery: Online
Intermediate
This course aimed at applicants with HSK2 or an equivalent level. It provides attendees with comprehensive skills in Chinese. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to read and write and haveconversations that relate to common daily settings in Mandarin and have a deep understanding Chinese culture.
Time: 18:00 - 19:00
Date:Every Tuesday & Thursday 2nd June - 2nd July 2020
Delivery: Online
Oral Practice
This course aims for learners who have basic foundation of Chinese language or have passed HSK1. Through this course, learners will enhance their interest in Chinese language as well as build up the confidence in speaking Mandarin. The course will train students to communicate with native speakers and express their thoughts fluently based on 8 various daily topics such as traveling, shopping, bargaining etc.

Please note this course is subject to a maximum number of 10 and the registration fee is non-refundable if you withdraw from the course after the start date.

Chinese Summer Courses
The UCC Confucius Institute is offering a wide range of Chinese language courses, beginning in 20th May, 2019
Absolute Beginner

Complete beginners or those with basic knowledge of Chinese are welcome.

Fee: €120 for external applicants; €100 UCC staff/registered student
Intermediate Course
This course aimed at applicants with HSK2 or an equivalent level. It provides attendees with comprehensive skills in Chinese. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to read and write and have conversations that relate to common daily settings in Mandarin and have a deep understanding Chinese culture.

Fee: €130 for external applicants; €120 UCC staff/registered student
Advanced Course
This course aimed at applicants with HSK3/HSK4 or an equivalent level. It provides attendees with skills in Chinese language including speaking, listening, reading and writing. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to use more complex grammatical structures and sentence patterns to communicate on familiar topics through interaction and description.
Time: 18:30 - 20:30; Every Tuesday & Thursday

Fee: €150 for external applicants; €130 UCC staff/registered student
