Chinese Class for Children

 

6—12 years old Beginner Course

By joining this course, children aged 6 to 11 years old should be able to pass the YCT1 (Level I). By the end of this course, students should be able to understand and use very simple Chinese phrases, meet basic needs for communication and possess the ability to further their Chinese language studies.

Date:  11th January,2020 -- 28 th March,2020 (10 weeks; 25th January, and  8th February are excluded.)

Time:  1-3pm Every Saturday

Venue:  ORB-G39

Fee:    €150 (€120 for UCC staff;  family offer: €120 for second kids)

  

6—12 years old Intermediate Course

This course aims for children who have learnt Chinese for a few months. Students have acquired simple topics in Chinese, such as family, hobby, colors. By joining this course, children between the ages 6 to 11 years old could be able to pass the YCT 2 (Level II)and HSK 1(Level I) and will have an excellent grasp of basic Chinese, as well as communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar terms and routine matters.

Time:  1-3pm Every Saturday

Fee:   €150 (€120 for UCC staff;  family offer: €120 for second kids)

 

6—12 years old Advanced Course

This course aims at helping children in age 6 to 11 years old to pass the YCT3(Level III) &HSK 2 (Level II) and will have an excellent grasp of daily Chinese. By attending this course, children could communicate with native speakers in fluent Chinese, read Chinese books, recognize and write basic Characters.

Date:  11th January,2020 -- 28 th March,2020 (10 weeks; 25th January, and  8th February are excluded.)

Time:  2-4pm Every Saturday

Venue:  ORB156

Fee:   €150 (€120 for UCC staff;  family offer: €120 for second kids)

Please note all courses are subject to a minimum number of 5 and the registration fee is non-refundable if you withdraw from the course after the start date.
