Ronan Byrne to compete at Senior Rowing World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Quercus Sports' Scholar, Ronan Byrne, is going from strength to strength with his rowing! After his outstanding performances at the U-23 Rowing World Championships, where he placed fifth in the A Final, he has now been selected to be part of the senior Irish team to take part in the Rowing World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Ronan will compete in the men's double skulls with Phil Doyle. The competition will take place from September 9th to 16th and we wish him all the luck in the world!!!

Two other UCC students, Aifric Keogh and Emily Hegarty, will also compete in the World Championships and we would like to extend heartfelt best wishes and lots of luck to them also.
