Congratulations to Quercus alum, Paul O'Donovan, who has won Gold at the Lightweight Men's Singles Rowing World Championships in Canada. Greece took Silver and Italy took Bronze.

Four Quercus Scholars on Cork Camogie All-Ireland winning team.
Congratulations to Cork who won the All-Ireland Senior final in Croke Park last Sunday, 11th August. There were three Quercus alum, Laura Hayes, Hannah Looney and Amy O'Connor, and one current Quercus scholar, Aoife Healy, on the team.

Donnchadh wins Undergraduate Award for Exceptional Innovation in Research
A huge congratulations to Donnchadh mac Aodha who has won the Danijela Kulezic-Wilson Undergraduate Award for Exceptional Innovation in Research for this year. The award is given by the School of Film, Music and Theater and was granted to Donnchadh for the innovation, creativity and originality of his final year project, Éist le Fuaim na hAbhann. Echoing Sean-nós in Contemporary Classical Composition.
