New Quercus Scholars 2025/26
On the 12th of September the new Quercus Scholars for 2025/26 enjoyed their induction day in the North Wing Council Room. UCC President, Prof. John O'Halloran, welcomed the scholars, as did our partners, Bank of Ireland.
There are 22 new scholars and we wish them the very best for the year ahead.
Academic Scholars (5)
Grace Hernan, third year Applied Psychology, from Cork.
Aine McCormack, third year Medicine, from Cork.
Bryan Chan, third year Chemical Physics, from Cork.
Padraig MacGearailt, second year Law and Irish, from Kerry.
One of the Academic scholars, Liam Ó hÓgain received his scholarship last year but was on a year abroad, Liam is in fourth year Law and Irish and is from Kerry.
