Quercus scholars rule the waters at European Rowing U-23 Championships 2020

The European Rowing U-23 Championships 2020 was the staging point for a Quercus armada which saw current scholars Ronan Byrne, Margaret Cremen, Aoife Casey and Emily Hegarty alongside incoming scholars Lydia Heaphy & Tara Hanlon mount the podium.

 

Lydia Heaphy, along with her partner Cliodhna Nolan won gold in the lightweight women's pair.

Ronan Byrne secured gold in the men's double schulls with his partner, Daire Lynch.

Margaret Cremen and Aoife Casey, both Quercus scholars, won silver in the lightweight women's double schulls.

Tara Hanlon and Emily Hegarty won bronze in the women's pair.
